Named for the Kunde's son, this vineyard currently features Merlot grafted on Couderc 3309 rootstock. Matthew's Station also contains a special planting of Tannat vines which are also planted on Couderc 3309 rootstock. In 2010 7.59 acres of Merlot
was budded to Clone 17 Chardonnay and the Tannat block was increased by more than 4 acres.
